The spread of Internet usage and Social Media habits has created perfect conditions for the next phase of Prosumerism.
These days much of “normal” offline life has an online element, and today millions of ordinary consumers are regularly online. And Prosumers have also evolved, their intensive online activities bringing to the fore variations in the way they express their attributes. We identified five types of Prosumers: Utilitarians, Entertainers, Advocates, Co-Creators, and Competitors.
